MR RAMSAY MACDONALD’S FORMER SEAT

LONDON, February 28,

Sir John Anderson (Government candidate), a former Governor of Bengal, won the Scottish Universities by-election caused by the death of Mr Ramsay Mac Donald. Sir John Anderson secured a majority of 8424 votes over his opponents. There was no Labour candidate.
