DUKE OF WINDSOR IN NEWS-REELS

* WITHDRAWAL OF FILM SOUGHT ENGLISH COMPANY REFUSES REQUEST (Received February 4, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 4. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s solicitors have asked the Kino Film Company not to release newsreels of the Duke’s activities, including his wedding, which are being imported from the United States. The company replied: “As several copies of the film are already in circulation in England privately, and as nothing of a defamatory character gainst your client appears in it, we see no reason why it should be withdrawn.”
