AMERICAN LABOUR
HOPES FOR UNITY EXPRESSED OUTCOME OF RECENT CONFERENCE (UNITED PEE S 3 ASSOCIATION —COPTEIGHT.) (Received November 5, 7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 4. The industrial correspondent of the “New York Times” says that at the resumption of the peace conference between the Committee for Industrial Organisation and the American Federation of Labour on October 28, it was unexepectedly indicated that both bodies were prepared to modify their intransigeant attitudes. The conference was adjourned until tomorrow.
The hopes of a united Labour front within two months are considered to be the brightest since the Committee for Industrial Organisation was founded.
