SIMULTANEOUS FLIGHTS FROM BRITAIN AND U.S.

(BRITISH OrrlClAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, July 1. The giant Empire flying-boat Caledonia will leave the Shannon on Monday on a 2000 miles flight across the Atlantic. It is expected that the journey will take 18 hours. An American Sikorsky clipper, which is already in position for the journey in the opposite direction, will leave its base at Botwood, Newfoundland, at the same time, and the two ships will pass- in midAtlantic. __
