MR SOPWITH CHALLENGING WITH ENDEAVOUR II

(Received July 2, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 1. Mr T. O. M. Sopwith, challenger for the America's Cup, announced to-day that Endeavour II will be the challenging boat. Mr Sopwith took Endeavour I and Endeavour II to America, and held his own elimination contests in American water. It is likely that the American defender will be Ranger.
