ST, GEORGE'S CHURCH, KIRWEE
* The annual meeting of St. George's Church, Kirwee, was held with the vicar, the Rev. W. H. S. Hine, presiding. The balance-sheet was adopted. Mr Hine, in his report, referred to the good work carried on by the Mothers' Union, and also spoke in appreciation of the services of churchwardens, Sunday school teachers, organists, and the lay reader, Mr H. J. Devonshire. ' The following officers were elected:— Vicar's warden, Mr A. L. Stewart; people's warden, Mr E. H. Wilde; vestry, Mesdames E. H. Wilde, A. Anderson, P. Turner. H. Smart, G. Begg, D. Kelly, J. Anderson, A. Stewart, Messrs G. Batstone, C. Smart. Captain P. Turner; auditor, Mr G. Batstone; parochial board, Mr Wilde, Captain Turner, and Mr A. Stewart.
