STAY-IN STRIKER'S WEDDING

FENCE SEPARATES BRIDE AND GROOM (Received January 15, 7.30 p.m.) PHILADELPHIA, January 14. An iron fence separated William McGuire, a stay-in striker in the plant of the Storage Battery Company, and his fiance, Theresa Grike, but they were married holding hands through a fence while 1200 strikers inside and 2000 friends and relatives outside watched and cheered the strikers.

After the ceremony the bride returned home. The bridegroom was hustled to the courtyard of one of the buildings, where the strikers serenaded him.
