FINAL APPEAL TO, BANK DEPOSITORS (JIRITISII OFFICIAL WIKELESS.) RUGBY, January 14. I The King George V. National Memorial Fund now amounts to £392,887, and in a final 'appeal which is'being made during the week beginning to-day the 14,000,000 owners of banking accounts are invited to instruct their bankers to transfer to the fund odd shillings and pence, in their accounts on the night of January 20, which is the anniversary; of King George's death. A broadcast appeal for the fund to provide a national tribute, which is taking the form of the provision of playing fields throughout the country, was made last night by the Lord Mayor of London (Sir George Broadbridge). j
