Passengers by the Awatea to-night include medical delegates to the congress of the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science, to be held at Auckland, Mr John Macmillan, chairman of directors of the Aberdeen and Commonwealth Line arid Shaw, Savill and Albion Line, and also Mr A. E. R. Gilligan, a former captain of the Marylebone Cricket Club team, who is visiting Australia to see the cricket tests. The last two will return to England.
