TWO MEN IMPRISONED

♦ INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF CAR (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEOHAM.) WELLINGTON/ December 28. As the result of a collision with another car on the Rimutakas, and of striking a bridge in the Taita Gorge, Leslie William Le Roy, aged 37 years, a linotypist was sentenced to one month's imprisonment on a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a car. His license was endorsed and cancelled, and he was declared unfit to obtain another license for 12 months. His companion, Ronald Kenneth Stuar* who was charged similarly, and also with driving without a license, was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment, and declared unfit to obtain a license for 12 menths. Stuart was in charge of the car in the Taita Gorge.
