SURGICAL WARD TO BE BUILT
♦ BIG ADDITION TO TIMAIU* HOSPITAL H'HRSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) TIMARU, December 21. The South Canterbury Hospital Board to-day accepted the tender of A. Kennedy of £35,990 for the erection of a three-storey surgical ward block at the Timaru Hospital. The additions to the Nurses' Home are now nearing completion, and the new block will be started soon, and will take 20 months to build.
