HYPNOTISM AND CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
TO TH* KIUTO* OF THB PBXSS. Sir -“Anti-Hypnosis” has enticed me to relate an experience that I had 30 years ago in the cowshed of Lowleigh Farm, Doddiscombsleigh, Mount Exeter, Devonshire; there I met the greatest hypnotiser in the history of man, and while I was milking the cow, He, the Wonderful Man, dealt with me about my sin and I told Him although I was guilty, vile and helpless He could make me whole, and this He did; also, He has had a spell over me and has been teaching His pupil pure Christian Science—“ The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ' our Lord!” Christ as Creator put Adam into a deep sleep. When He was here in fashion as a man He raised the dead. To have His mind, it is necessary first
of all to receive Him as Saviour and Lord—“as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” —Yours, etc., EGLON SERCOMBE. November 13, 1936. [Subject to the right of reply of Edgar G. Harris, this correspondence is now closed.—Ed., “The Press.”]
