TO-DAY'S PROGRAMME The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's spring meeting will be continued at Addington to-day, when the track and the weather should be an favour of fast times. .. A feature of the day's racing will be an attempt by Indianapolis to pace a mile in two minutes. Ins trial will take place at 2.20 p.m. The win-and-place system of betting will be in operation and the cluo again expresses its determination to close the totalisator according to th© times advertised in the programme. Speculators are advised to assist the totalisator proprietor by making their investments as soon as possible after the machine is opened. A record crowd is exoected and under the present conditions the totalisator can handle only a limited sum bf money.
