Clarrie Rayner (Blenheim) scored his second consecutive win over Billy Aitken (Wellington) when he beat the visitor to-night on points in a 15-round contest; It was a hard, clean bout, fought at a fast clip, with Rayner making headway over the first half of the distance. Aitken finished strongly, landing with stinging, snappy punches. The margin of points was not great.
