ALARM IN GERMANY
INCREASED STRENGTH OF RUSSIAN ARMY
BERLIN, August 12,
Germany is alarmed at the Soviet’s reducing the age of military service from 21 to 19 and bringing up the standiog army to the peacetime strength of 1,600,000. Official circles declare that it is conclusive proof that Russia’s pacific professions are insincere.
