IMPRISONMENT FOR THREE YEARS

(PBJISS ABaOCIATIOJT TEHOKAM.) HAMILTON, February 21.

Found guilty by a jury of breaking, entering and theft at Morrinsville, Norman Harold McCormick was sentenced to three years* imprisonment with hard labour by Mr Justice Callan, in the Supreme Court to-day. His Honour intimated that in view of the accused's long criminal record he would have declared him an habitual criminal but for the fact that he 'was only 30 years of age, and that his first crimes wera commuted when he was a boy.
