ST. ANDREW'S DAY
PARADE AND BRAID SCOTS SERVICE In celebration of St Andrew's Day, which falls next Saturday, members of the Scottish Society paraded at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church yesterday morning. There was a further celebration in the evening at the Knox Church, where the Rev. T. W. \rmour conducted the annual "Braid Scots" service. The City of Christchurch Highland Pipe Band paraded at the evening service, at which Mr Armour preached. Mr A. G. Thompson acted as precentor, and Mr Farquhar Young read the lessons.
