In the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Smith admitted to two years* probation Taua McLean, on two charges of forgery and. one of uttering, arising out of the purchase of a motor-car by the accused in the Bay of Plenty. Jim Rangi was admitted to two years' probation on a charge of carnal knowledge.
