MUSSOLINI'S ARMY OF YOUTHS

♦ TRAINING WITH THE REGULARS INSTRUCTORS' INSPECTION TO-DAY (Received February 1, 12.15 a.m.) ROME, January 31. The first step in the military training of 1,000,000 youths aged from 18 to 21, will be taken to-day, when Signor Mussolini will inspect 10,000 instructors for this army. The youths, wherever possible, will be trained in barracks with regulars "so as to learn to love both men and officers." They will train after school or working hours, and on Sundays and holidays. The most capable will serve as non-commissioned officers when they join the colours as conscripts at the age of 21.
