-- * TWO BOATS WITHDRAWN FROM SANDERS CI P TRIADS .I'l'.rss ASSOCIATION !T.I.i:C.KAM.I DUNEDIN. December 6. As the result of differences between the boat-owners and the Olago Yachting Association, only two boats, the Val and the Squib, remain open for selection to represent Olago in the Sanders .Cup contest at Stewart Island next month. Two former winners of the cup, the Canterbury boat Betty and the Eileen, have been withdrawn from the trials. The Val represented Southland in the Sanders Cup contest at Lyttelton last February, and was bought later by a Dunedin yachtsman. The Eileen was Otago's representative in the last contest, and the Betty, which was sailed for Canterbury with such success by Mr George Andrews, and a few years ago was sold to a Wellington man, was bought by an Otago yachtsman this year.
