After several days of uncertainty about the fate of the freighter Aindcrby, which was badly damaged during a terrific gale in the North Atlantic, the owners have received a message from the master stating that the situation is well in hand. No assistance is required, and it is hoped to make the Bristol Channel on Tuesday. The search for the Miilpool has been abandoned. It is presumed that ihe vessel with her crew of 20 was lost in the same gale which crippled the Ainderby.
