FOUNTAINS FLOW WITH FREE WINE
Ml'( KETS NOP ALLOWED HOME, October 7, Free wine flowed copiously to-day from two fountains in the publi'.square of the little town of Marino, which was celebrating its annual vintage festival. In spite of the free wine, however, there was not a case of drunkenness among the thousands of visitors who arrived to drink in honour of Bacchus. Everyone is entitled to at least two glasses of wine from the fountains, but a mayoral edict banned buckets. Carabineers kept the bibbers moving and discouraged loitering at the fountains.
