A Chinese meal, comprising a wide variety of 20 unusual delicacies, and occupying considerably longer than a European meal, was described by Mr Angus Mitchell, a prominent Australian Rotarian, in an address to the Auckland Rotary Club. The meal, at which he was a guest in Canton, included sharks' fins and other typically Oriental dishes. "Personally, I longed for a slice of bread and butter and a glass of water," Mr Mitchell added.
