The annual meeting of the Dar-lield-Greendalc-Kiniberley sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Memorial Hall, Mrs H. A. Knight presiding over a large attendance of members. The resignation of the honorary treasurer, Mrs W. T. Cooke, who for nine years had been treasurer of the sub-branch, was received with regret. A vote of 1 hanks was passed to Mrs Cooke for the excellent work she had done for the society. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory credit and was adopted. The' election of officers resulted as foliows:—Patron, Dr. C. E. Reid; president. Mrs H. A. Knight: vice-presi-dents, Mesdam.es G. F. Hutton, and \V. T. Cooke; hon. treasurer, Mrs J. H. Jarman; hon. secretary, Mrs R. Reid: assislant honorary secretary, Mrs T. Westwood: committee. Mesdames I). Gillanders, J. O. Redfern, V/. Pole, J. Reid. W Stott, R. S. Gunn. H Edhrooke. J. R. Cullcn. F. G. Turner. C. E. Reid. W. C. Tritt, W. W. Muiholland, G. C. Warren, G. Cridge. and P. Falloon 'Darlield), Mesdames Svm.e A. Stott, and Bedford (Kimberley). Mesdames G. Ridgen. E. Ridgen, F. Cullen, F. G. Early, E. T. Jones, and H. B. Shipley (Greendale). A vole of thanks was passed to Nurse Finlayson for her work during the vear, to Mr H. H. Barrs, honorary auditor, and to those who had so generously assisted the society at various functions during the year. Arrangements for a dance were left in the hands of the committee Afternoon tea was served by members of the committee.
