CANTERBURY COLLEGE
FRENCH CLUB
Last night members of the Canterbury College French Club, meeting in the rooms of the Federation of University Women, read "Gringoire," by Theodore de Banville. This comedy, which is considered to be one of de Banville's masterpieces, is a splendid example of the best nineteenth century work. The author was renowned as "an acrobat in verse," and his work made extremely interesting reading.
