RECORDS BROKEN W AITJEM ATA CAK NIV A L IPHHSS ASSOCIATION TKLEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, February 12. Two New Zealand records were broken at the Waitemata Swimming Club's carnival to-night. Miss Mona Leydon won the Auckland women's 440 yards championship in smin 54 3-ssec, and thus reduced her own record, established last year, by five seconds. W. Johnson was successful in a special attack on the New Zealand 880 yards intermediate boys' race, recording 12min 26sec. He thus clipped lrnin 11 l-ssec off the time made by Batchelor, of Canterbury, 12 years age.
