JUNIOR TOURNAMENT CONCLUDED The Canterbury junior croquet championships were concluded in the United Club's greens yesterday, with the playing of the final ot the handicap doubles. Mrs 11. CowLn r.nd Mrs; C H. Bull defeated Mrs C. Hunter and Mrs A. McMillan, 2G-l!l. Mr S. McCullough, manager of the tournament, presented the prizes to the winners of this match, and in congratulating several players on their performances made particular mention of Mrs Hunter, whose consistent play showed treat promise. UNITED H V. SUMNER A pennant match between United H and Sumner resulted as follows (United names first):— Doubles—Mrs Hadfleld and Miss Bell 26 v. Mrs Bates and Miss Bain 9; Mrs Rhodes-Williams and Mrs G. Williamson 26 v. Mrs Whitfield and Mrs Booth 19; Miss Maze and Mrs Hope 2fi v. Miss Wood and Mrs Buxton 22. Singles—Miss Bell 26.
