WEST CHRISTCHURCH CADETS
The intensive training undertaken by the West Christchurch District High School cadet corps during last week as a substitute for the usual annual camp has been completed. An increase was shown in the number taking first-aid training this year, a comprehensive course including bandaging, fractures, control of haemorrhage' poisons, artificial respiration, and general first-aid being given to the 30 pupils taking the medical course. Last year 12 joined Ihe medical section.
