CHRISTCHURCH FILM SOCIETY
MEMBERSHIP INVITED
Invitations are now being extended privately for membership of the Christchurch Film Society, which is in progress of formation for the purpose of showing private screenings in Christchurch of some of the interesting films produced on the Continent and in England and not shown commercially in New Zealand. The society does not intend to aim for a large membership and will, indeed, strictly limit the number of its members, but members will be permitted to join if introduced by a founder, while further nominations by existing members will be considered. The subscription is £1 Is per annum, which Will entitle a member to a double ticket for each of about ten screenings.
