AUTUMN SHOW AT MOTUKARARA.
+ — SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITION. The Motukarara autumn show, hold under tho auspices of the Waihora Tennis Club and tho Gebbie's Valley Church Committee, was held in the buildings, lent by the Banks Peninsula Baclxig Club. There was a good attendance both in tho afternoon and evening. Sir Hcaton .Rhodes declared the show officially open and praised tho exhibits, especially the district bays, which were a credit to those in charge. The winning bay (Motukarara) was a very line exhibit. In the evening a dance was held in the totalisator house, there being a large crowd present. Kinsman's band supplying the music. Tho following were winners of competitions: —Hamper, I. C. Gray; sucking pig, W. A. Gray; 501b Hour, A. Melville; peas in bottle, D. Allen (558); cushion, Mrs J. Wheeler. Mrs Raggett won J. Ronnie's trophy for the most points in the show, and Mrs W. C. Miller was second. Stacey and Hawker's prize was won by Miss E. Thompson. The prize list is as follows: — CUT BLOOMS.
