The United Kingdom's share of India's imports is shown in tho survey of the import trade of India for the three months 'ended June 30th issued by the Department of Overseas Trade. Tha imports during the period totalled £27,750,000, an increase of 3 per cent, over the 1931 total, and Britain's share rose from 32.9 per cent, to 35.2 per cent. COUNCIL OF INDIA. BRITISH REPRESENTATIVE REAPPOINTED. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIBELESS.) (Received September Bth, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, September 7. The Secretary of State for India (Sir Samuel Hoare) has reappointed for a further period Sir Henry Wheeler, whoso term of office as a member of the Council of India will expire on October 4th.
