"Wang Ching-wei, whose resignation was announced yesterday, ha* issued a scathing denunciation of Marshal Chang Hsiao-liang, alleging that Marshal Chang Hsiao-Hang's abandonment «f Mukden last year lost 30,000,000 pebplft and hundreds of thousands «f. miles of territory to China.. Though nearly a year has passed he has done nothing to •vindicate himself, with, f»e result that Jehol is. now threatened. In spite of the,fact taat Marshal Chang HaUto-liang commands tha l«gr est and best-eqnlpped forces xh. China, to the best of Wang's knowledge Marshal Chang Hsiao-liang 'had not- sent i single soldier or loosed a single arrow -in defence of the nation. Nevertheless, he was using this as a. pretext for res sistance of.the Japanese, for the pur-, pose of extorting money from a bankrupt Treasury. - • k .
