GREAT INCREASE IN BRITAIN (BBITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) (Received January 20th, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, January 19Striking increase in air mail traffic during last year has been recorded by the * Postmaster-General (Sir Kingsley Wood). About 2,250,000 letters, weighing over 52 tons, were sent by air—an increase of about 10,000 weekly over 1930.
