Four brothers, two of them twins, have created a record for the British Army by enlisting in the samo regiment within a few minutes of each other. The new recruits are Roderick John Patience, aged 24; Alastair and Gibson Patience, aged 22; and Donald William Patience, aged 20. Their home is as Avoclc, Inverness. Koderick, the eldest of the quartette, is a graduate of Glasgow University, and was teaching. But he did not care for his job, and when his twin brothers, who had been out of work for sis months, intimated their intention of enlisting, he and nis youngest brother decided to do likewise. Alastair was an engineer, Gibson a plumber, and Donald a carpenter. Now they are all in the Scots Guards.
