Although restrictions will not bo removed till to-morrow many banks resumed operations to-day. The amounts paid in exceeded the withdrawals. Dr. Bruening, the Chancellor, broadcasting to-night, indicated that the banks would he brought under the control of the Government. He declared that the emergency measures had nor thing to do with inflation. Depositors need not be afraid that they would lose their hard-earned savings,
