A sub-committee was appointed to draw up a resolution protesting against Sunday excursion trains being run between Christchurch and Timaru, with instructions that copies be sent to the Prime Minister and the Minister for Railways. The Rev. A. G. Irvine reported that he and the Rev. \V. Morgan, together with the elders, had made their triennial visit to the Rakaia charge, and 4 had found that splendid work was being done.
