A jury of five women and seven men brought in a verdict of guilty of manslaughter against Mrs Pantages, wife of • vaudeville theatre owner, who recently ■old his theatres for £3,000,000. The law provides for a sentence of from one to ten years' imprisonment. Mrs Pantages collapsed when the verdict was delivered. The charge was one of seooud degree of murder, for killing a Japanese while driving a iqotor-car while into: "cated.
