ADDINGTON LIBRARY.
The monthly meeting of the Addington Public Library was held last Wednesday evening. . The 1 - president, Mr E. Parlane, presided. The secretary was instructed to write a letter of sympathy to Mrs Emmerson, who was absent through illness. Owing to the demand for magazines, Mr Tlintoff, who is in charge of them, ie to report at the next meeting as to which are the most popular, tie committee will then decide to procure extra copies if necessary Discussion on the book "All Quiet on the Western Front" showed that there was a big demand tor it. Reports from many readers favoured the Library retaining the book, and it was decided, if necessary, to procure extra copies.
