LAWN TENNIS.
ST. PHILIP'S CLUB. The annual meeting of St. Philip' B Tennis Club was held in the schoolroom. The Bey, Canon Mutter presided over a good attendance of members. The balance-sheet showed the club to be .'in a very satisfactory position.* The following officers were elected i.»r the ensuing year:—President, the Rev. Canon Matter; vice-presidents, Mrs McWhannell, sen Mr- H. C. Smith. Mr J. W. Woodbury, Mr X. C. M. Turner, and Mr H. W. Walker; club captain, Mr F. Bearne; lady captain. Miss L. Button; vice-captain. Mr L. Holbert; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr Caiman; assistant secretary, Mrs F. Burborough; hon. auditor, Mr A. W. McWhannell; committee, Mrs W. Fox, Mrs Bowles, Miss D. O'Connor, Messrs C. W.
