IMPENDING TRANSFERS OF

JUDGES

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM )

AUCKLAND, July 11

Several transfers among Judgea of the Supreme Court are understood to be pending. Mr Justice Kennedy, who has been stationed in Auckland since his appointment to the Suoreme Court Bench at the beginning of the year, is expected to leave during the week after next to take up duty in Dunedin. Mr Justice Smith, of Wellington, will shortly be permanently stationed in Auckland. It is anticipated that any interval between the departure ot Mr Justice Kennedy and the arrival of'Mr Justice Smith will be filled by a visit to Auckland from Mr Justice Ostler.
