JOURNALISTS' MEMORIAL.

RUGBY, November 12,

A memorial to journalists who fell in the Great War was unveiled at the Institute of Journalists during the week-end by Major-Ge al Sir Fabian Ware, permanent vice-president of the Imperial War Graves Commission, who is an ex-journalist. Over 3300 journalists joined the forces and 500 were killed. The memorial bears an inscription chosen by Rud.vard Kipling, which reads: "We have served our day."
