VISIT OF WELL-KNOWN BAPTIST MINISTER.
♦ ■ (PRESS ABSOCIA.TIOH TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, August 27. Well known in Baptist circles throughout the world, the Rev. Dr. W. T. Whitley arrived in Wellington this morning by the Makura. He has been attending the world's Baptist Congress at Toronto and remained behind to edit the Congress volume, a task he has undertaken in former years Dr. Wh'Hley will, spend a month m the Dominion before crossing to Australia, where he was for ten years the principal of frue Victorian Baptist Col* lege in Melbourne. . After visiting Napier, Gisborne, and Rotorua, he will deliver a course of lectures on Church history to the students of the Baptist College in Auckland, before lecturing in Wellington, Christchurch, and I>unedin.,
