THE PERSONAL TOUCH.
FACSIMILES SENT BY WIRE. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, April 13. Among the experiments which'the engineering department of the General Post Office is making in connexion with its telegraph service, one of the most interesting is directed to the sending of a telegram as a picture, so that it shall reach the person to whom it is addressed as a facsimile of the hand-, writing of the sender.' Experiments are being made in cooperation with Germany, and if they prove successful the new form of message will doubtless be adopted.
