The girl will remain in the Salvation Army Home. Svdnev Alfred Rose, aged SS years, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting James Russell. , Senior-Sergant Martin stated that on Saturday night a constable had arrested two men, and had asked a bystander, James Russell, to help him. At the Police Station the two men were released, and one of them, the accused, then went round to the Scottish Society's Hall and assaulted Russell. ' . .
