FIREMEN WANT APOLOGY.

Just before the steamer Orsova was due to sail for London a nroman struck nh officer, who retaliated in self-(I4-fence. The firemen demanded an npulogv, unci when this was refused they walked off the shin in a body. Only twenty out of seventy-six returned, in The Orsova. therefore, is held up.
DISPUTE SETTLED. (acitbamjlk an*> v.s. cable association.) (Received February 7th, IS.SO a.m.) SYDNEY, February 6. The dispute in connexion with the Orsova has been settled. The tefnis are not known. The vessel sailed tO'day.
