Victoria had lost two wickets for sixteen runs when stumps wore drawn. Tho start was delayed owing to the state of tho wicket, the foothold for bowlers being precarious. Kippax played carefully till ho reached his second century. This is his fourth double century against Victoria. The latter opened badly, losing two wickets for sixteon when nn appeal against tho bad light was upheld. Hendry, out, made seven.
