(PBMS ASSOCUTIOS TK.IGBAU.) AUCKLAND, January 27. The annual conference oj tho NewZealand Society of Professional Teachers of Music resolved that in the opinion of tho conference 10 per cent, was a, fair deduction from visiting music teachers' fees, when employed at schools, to cover cost of collection and use.of rooms and pianos. The most important matter dealt with by the conference was the Registration Rill, which it was hoped would be brought before Parliament next session, Members were requested to interview their Parliamentary represenatives on,the subject, and the professional arfembers of tho 'Wellington Society were authorised to interview the Minister for Education, tho Hon. Mr Wright, as a deputation from tho executive.

The next conference is to be held in Christchurch in January, 1928.
