Chicago messages state that a wave of pilgrims from every nation in the world haa swept into the city for the Eucharistic Congress. Railroad officials declare that the crowds exceed anything ever experienced. It is eatirrfated that 200.000 people reached Chicago by. motors, trains, and steamboats, and another 360,000 are expected to- * morrow. The formal ceremonies open at midnight to-night with the first Masses in the various churches, after which Masses will be held in every church until noon to-morrow with Cardinals, Archbishops, and Bishops as celebrants. All visiting Cardinals and High 'Ohurcb dignitaries will gather in the Cathedral of the Holy Name to-morrow for the formal installation of Cardinal Bonzano as the official Papal Legate for the Congress.
