The Prince of Wales had a rcinurkable escape. He was himself driving a motor-car to Sandwich with u gentlemun and two ladies whan accounts say that two tyres burst simultaneously, anil the car swerved, but the Prince pulled up safely. He opened the toolbox with u view lo carrying out repairs, but finding two tyres burst and having only one spare tyre, ho waited until a second car, containing friends, overtook him.
