FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.

' ..L V ,« , CAPTAIN COBHAM'S INTENDED TRIP. (bt cabls—j>besb assocutiom-t-copibioht,) (iUfITBALIAH AID %.Z. CABLB 4MOCIATIQI,) LONDON, April 16. It is learned that Captain Alan Cobham's itinerary for bis flight to Australia is on the verge of completion. It differs' materially from the late Sir Boas Smith's, and consists chiefly of short stages, numbering about 30, none ex. Deeding 600 miles. Apparently the idea is to provide for quick petrol refills, doing two stages daily, so that jf the weather is favourable there is a prospect of cutting off at least a week from Sir Ross Smith's time of 28 days: Captain Cobham will probably cross the Torres Straits to Darwin, and thence fringe Queensland and traverse tho Riverina to Melbourne.
